Teen STEAM Kits

  • Library patrons, ages 12-18 can check out a Teen STEAM Kit for 2 hours in the Teen Center that allow them to explore photography, studio recording, graphic design, computer programming, 3D printing, robotics, illustrating, button making and much more.
  • No library card? No problem! All kits are showcased upon request during two weekly programs for teens:
    • Design Studio
      • When: Every Tuesday at 3:30-5 p.m.
    • CreateThursday
      • When: Every Thursday at 3-5 p.m.
  • With projected career growth in S.T.E.M. it is vital that libraries position themselves in a way that can support schools and businesses that may not have the resources or capacity to facilitate or supply informal learning environments focusing on S.T.E.M. for youth.
