Library Closure:

The library will be closed for observance of Independence Day on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. The library lobby is open for HOLD pick-ups only. New holds can now be placed on items. The drive-up book drop is available 24 hours and interior book drop is available Mon.-Fri 9 a.m-5 p.m. More library services will be available soon. Due dates on items checked out have been extended and expired library cards have been renewed to JULY 1. For City of Tempe COVID-19 updates check here. Things to See and Do

Teen Center

A special spot in the library dedicated to serving our Teen population, it features our Young Adult (YA) book collection and several computers reserved for teen use only.

Teen STEAM Kits

Teens can check out one of our special STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics) kits for 2 hours, and use the items within to challenge their mind and develop new skills. Kit themes include exploring robotics, computer programming, graphic design, sculpting, painting, t-shirt printing, button making, Perler beading, and much more. Read more...

Anime Streamers

During this teen led program you can partake in an anime marathon, a discussion about the latest manga, or show off your stellar cosplay attire.

Create Thursday

Immerse yourself in the Teen Center with our individually paced, teen-led, pop-up maker space. 

Design Studio

Access our growing collection of equipment, software, and online tools to begin creating your own work.

Dungeons & Dragons

For teens who want to go on fantastic adventures filled with dragons, magic, villains, and heroes.

Game On! @ Tempe Public Library

Teens gather to socialize and play video games for two hours every Wednesday.

Club It Up

Need a space for your club to meet? Reserve the Teen Center Conference Room up to two Fridays a month for your club. Meet with Teen Center staff for more information.

Teen Volunteer Orientation

Acquire Summer volunteer service hours for school while developing professional skills to prepare you for college and career. Lead fun and meaningful activities with children, teens, and library staff.
