Resources

  • Local resources available to community members with disabilities and caregivers. This document is downloadable and contains descriptions and hyperlinks to each resource.
  • Social stories discuss how to enjoy your time at the library and make it a great place to visit. There are descriptions of the various areas, as well as things you see and hear during a visit to the library

Public Computing, Equipment, and Facility Accommodations

  • Hearing Loops
    • The Arizona Community Foundation funded hearing loops in our Desert Willow Program Room that enable hearing aids to act as wireless transmitters, helping to eliminate background noise and make it easier to hear and communicate.
  • Accessibility Public Computers 
    • Two public computers equipped with large print keyboards to ease and enhance your reading, writing and learning experience.
    • One wheelchair accessible height adjustable computer table.
  • Magnification station
    • Magnifies print materials on site. Located near the Answers Desk on the main floor of the library.
