Summer Reading Game - How to Play

• Track your reading minutes. 1 minute = 1 point!
• Any reading counts - books, comic books, magazines, you name it!
• You can also count minutes when you read aloud to someone else, or someone else reads aloud to you, including listening to audio books!
• Earn extra points by participating in library program, activities and challenge activities.
• Win prizes when you reach 250 points, 500 points, 750 points, and 1000 points! Prizes are available as supplies last. You can also earn drawing entries. Drawing prizes pictured below. 

Prizes

Teens (12-17 years)

• Registration: Bookstore Buck, Connections Cafe Lemonade
• 250 points: Culver's free scoop, Spaghetti Shack cheesecake or marshmallow treat
• 500 points: Portillo's cake slice, Sweet Republic scoop
• 750 points: Adopt a Dino, Ono BBQ keiki meal, Arizona State Park Pass and two Phoenix Mercury tickets (both redeemable in summer reading portal)
• 1000 points: Free book (redeemable in summer reading portal), Lou Malnati's youth personal pizza, Bahama Bucks Small Sno

Achieve 1000 points and get your name on our Finisher Wall of Fame! Come to the Youth Desk to choose your dino paw print. Decorate your dino paw print and write your name on it. Give your dino paw print to a library staff member to place on the wall!
