Kanopy

Kanopy is the best video streaming service for quality, thoughtful entertainment. Find movies, documentaries, foreign films, classic cinema, independent films and educational videos that inspire, enrich and entertain. Also includes the Great Courses series.

Getting Started

1. Register online or via the Kanopy app
2. You will need to verify your library card number and PIN/password

Lending Periods

• You receive 30 tickets in your account per month. Each video will use a different amount of tickets, unless you are accessing videos from Kanopy Kids, which will not require any to view.
  • Borrow limit resets the 1st of every month. Unused play credits will not roll over into the next month.
• Checkout periods:
  • Tickets will be used once at least 5 seconds of a video has been played. Once the tickets are logged, you will have a full 3 days (72 hours) to watch the video as many times as you would like without using more tickets, even if a new month starts and your tickets reset.
• Items automatically expire from your account at the end of your lending period.
  • Please note that returning a title early does not give users additional borrows for that month.
